Our portfolio of products manufactured covers the scope of components and assemblies used for both upper and lower completions. We have been relied upon to produce large-volume components, such as bearing sets, as well as to manufacture complex single-piece prototypes. Our machining experience covers not only the range of requisite processes, but also the gamut of materials - from common steels, like 4140, to exotics, like Hastelloy C-276.
OIL TOOLS: SAND CONTROL
Union Tech engineered production methods and constructed specialized equipment, including swedging, wire-wrapping, and automated welding machines, necessary for sand screen production on a global scale. We have manufactured and delivered over 30,000 joints of sand screens used for various fields across the world operated by Statoil, Wintershall, Lundin Petroleum, and others. The substantial level of vertical integration of our manufacturing capabilities enables our customers and partners to reap economic benefits in any market environment.
OIL TOOLS: Logging while drilling (LWD) & measurement while drilling (MWD)
LWD and MWD tools are notoriously difficult to manufacture, due to not only the off-centered gun-drilling required, but also the machining of nonmagnetic steels. Union Tech's wide scope of capabilities and deep depth of machining experience enables us to be one of the premier contract manufacturers for LWD and MWD collars.
